What is Adventure Club?
Adventure Club teaches kids from 3 years old (by Sept. 1st) through 6th grade systematic theology of the Bible in order to help them learn to know, love, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Each Wednesday brings a time of singing, games, lesson review, reciting Scripture and teaching according to the different age groups.
Every week, adventurers learn the same lesson in a way that is appropriate for their respective age group with topics covering the church, the Bible, and the end times (year 1), man, sin, and salvation (year 2), and the Trinity (year 3). A three-year rotation of topics allows each child to be exposed to theological concepts at progressively deeper levels as they move through Trackers, Scouts, and Trailblazers. The unified curriculum also enables families to discuss one topic together each week, reinforcing the lesson that children have learned in Adventure Club.
Verses related to the lesson are provided for the children to memorize during the week to help them remember what the Scripture teaches about the week’s topic. One verse is common among all age groups each week, while older groups have additional verses available to memorize.
